Vice President, Director of Business Development
Mr. David Marconi is a benefits professional with over 30 years of experience in the Qualified Retirement Plan Services Industry. He has predominantly spent this time working in the areas of Product Design, Project Management, and Sales/Marketing, making him uniquely qualified to design and deliver working service solutions and new product approaches. Mr. Marconi has held various senior level positions with industry leaders such as State Street Bank, Mellon Financial Corporation and Affiliated Computer Services, Inc. (ACS). During his career, he managed Implementation operations, regional offices, and key sales functions in support of Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, and Health and Welfare Administration business lines.
As a Divisional Vice President at ACS, Mr. Marconi managed a regional office, providing senior leadership and site management for a diverse team of Defined Contribution Administration professionals with overall responsibility for the comprehensive relationship management and delivery of all administrative, financial operations and trading services for 40 large institutional clients, representing more 500,000 participants.
As a Vice President at Mellon Financial Corporation, Mr. Marconi led a group of senior consultants responsible for creating strategic solutions for Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, and Health and Welfare administration opportunities as well as providing end-to-end deal management. In this role, he interfaced with the broader organization on overall service delivery strategy and P&L attainment for national and multi-national engagements, contributed market intelligence and competitive insight to influence evolution of products and services, and was responsible for the formation and delivery of pricing strategy.
Mr. Marconi has a Bachelor of Science Degree in both Accounting and Information Processing Systems from The University of Cincinnati. He currently carries active designations as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS), and a Qualified Pension Administrator (QPA). |
